Ron, Lorraine and all the staff would personally like to welcome you to  El Gecko Bar. Set right at the heart of the uptown district of Cebu and located very close to all the major hotels and shopping centers. El Gecko is a contemporary and comfortable place to enjoy fantastic food, drinks, music and company. Recently under new ownership we have made sure everything has not only remained the same but we are improving on many aspects of the bar.

There is a great mixture of friendly people from local expats and vacation makers who all treat  El Gecko as their second home. We are a place for all of the family and the only traditional bar in the area. All who visit return time and time again to enjoy the great service, atmosphere and low prices.

El Gecko boasts a great menu with a mix of foods from around the globe to suit almost every taste. From local cuisine to Mexican right through to great home cooked pizza, there is something for everyone.

There is a COMPLETELY FREE billiards / pool table and dart board so you can relax and enjoy a game without the worry of finding a charge when your bill arrives. The expats and locals would not tolerate over inflated prices or a hidden tax. When we advertise free billiards, darts and 45 Peso for an ice cold beer that's exactly what we mean. Unlike most bars in the area !

Another bonus! There is a selection of travel guides for the Philippines at the bar that you can leisurely read whilst sipping on your favorite drink. Also free city maps are provided that you can take with you making for your tour of Cebu City complete.
